Joachim B Hansen’s caddie tested positive to Covid-19 before the last round of the tournament. The European Tour asked Hansen to withdraw from the tournament. He lost at least the last position purse set up at 2 220,75 Euros.
POWER LINES
We don’t see that very often on a professional Golf Tour, but 2 players got an encounter with Power Lines. On his shot, Matt Wallace’s ball was deflected into a penalty area. Lee Westwood’s ball ended up 20 feet from the hole after being deflected by a Power line.
The following Local Rule was in effect: If it is known or virtually certain that the player’s ball hit a power line or tower or a wire or pole supporting a power line during the play of holes 2, 4, 5 and 12, the stroke does not count. The player must play a ball without penalty from where the previous stroke was made.

COURSE RECORD – 60 (-12)
Unfortunately for Laurie Canter, his round of 60 won’t constitute a course record because the Preferred lies Local rules was in effect.
A woman scored 58
Monica Vaughn a former NCAA player was playing in a fundraiser event last weekend, and she made a 58 on a par 71 in Oregon. That round was played with the full Rules of Golf in Effect.
But for that event, she played from the forward tees at 5 587 yards. She made it clear to everyone that any mention of that record-breaking round would have to specify that she played from the forward tees.
