This is an impressive change in the rules for amateur status.
The year 2022 will be very exciting for the amateur golfers. This change will make an amateur circuit like the Circuit de Golf de la Capitale (CGC), https://cgctour.ca very interesting for amateur golfers. This summer will be their first year.
In the past years I was consultant in a few golf projects and the fact that amateur golfers could not receive any cash was very difficult to sell to players.
People have until March 26th to give feedback on that proposed change.
I am for the changes and it will give a boost to amateur players that had stopped playing in tournaments only to grow their inventory of balls and gloves.
