You will find in the following link all the details on different rules incidents in all the major golf tours. In 2021, we saw some penalties on slow play. Many players hope that trend will continue because slow play is a problem in golf.

My full-time job in summer is working as a referee and Director of Rules and competitions in pro golf mini tours. Here are a few incidents in the last year.
LATE AT THE TEE
Some players have the bad habit of arriving at the tee box a few seconds before the tee time. It always makes me nervous because I hate the give penalties to players because they are late. I had a player call me to say he is on his way from his home, and he will try to arrive on time. Unfortunately, he arrived at the tee, with the bag on his shoulders 6 minutes after his scheduled tee time. I had to disqualify him.
During the season, I had 2 players that were 2 minutes late at the tee. The penalty is 2 strokes. This is a very bad way to start a round
SUSPENSION OF PLAY
When we must suspend play because of bad weather, we have the choice of stopping right away (ONE LONG HORN), when there is danger from lightning, or we can also tell the players we are suspending play, but players are allowed to complete the hole. (3 long blasts).
In a very important tournament, in 2021, , we had to stop play because of the rain. Some player marked their ball and went directly to the club house. Other players decided to complete the hole being played. This is permitted when it is not because of lightning. A group of 3 players completed the 8th hole and they decided to play the 9th hole. The penalty for that breach is DISQUALIFICATION.
WRONG BALL
3 players were penalized 2 strokes for playing a wrong ball. In that case, the player must go back and find his original ball or play under Stroke and Distance.
WRONG PLACE
In the year, I gave 2 times a penalty for playing from a wrong place. When the breach is not serious, the penalty is 2 strokes and the ball played from the wrong place counts. Even if it is only a few inches, the penalty is the same.
WRONG SCORE
A player puts a score of 4 on his scorecard. He made a 5. That player called me in the evening telling me he miscalculated his score on a hole. The penalty is DISQUALIFICATION.
BALL ACCIDENTLY MOVED
When a player moves his ball in play, he does not get a penalty if it was in the action of searching for his ball. But if the player does not replace the ball, he will get a penalty of 2 strokes.
CART PATHS
This is probably the procedure that is the most unknown from the players. In a tournament I spend a lot of time helping players with the relief for a ball on a cart path. I understand, because if the player does not get it right, he will be penalized 2 strokes if he plays the ball from the wrong spot.
